A monthly event where you can unleash your creativity while elevating your experience. A guided artistic journey where you paint your masterpiece while enjoying the welcoming embrace of cannabis.

- Duration: Approximately 2 hours.​

All Halloween Event applications must be submitted by September 15th!
HOW TO APPLY
- Please send your headshot, resume, and samples (if available) to michael@burningacre.com.
- In the email, include a brief introduction and summarize any relevant experience you have for the role.
- Once all submissions have been received, you will be invited to an in person casting call (date to be determined)

Female Actress for Buds & Boos: Build a Broom Workshop
We are seeking a talented female actress to lead our upcoming event, "Buds & Boos: Build a Broom Workshop." The event will feature a delightful evening of broom building led by a powerful and mysterious witch!
​
Character: The Mystical Witch
- Age Range: 21 - Open
- Voice: Must be able to captivate the audience and remain in character while giving instructions and interacting with participants. Ability to control tone and pace for maximum impact.
- Presence: A commanding and charismatic presence that draws the audience in and keeps them spellbound.
- Experience: Experience in leading craft activities or experience in supernatural/Halloween themed roles. Not required but taken into consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and guide participants through the creation of their broom using build a broom kits.
- Engage the audience through vocal dynamics, facial expressions, and body language.
- Must provide your own costume/makeup.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $75 per hour or in-house product of equivalent value
Male Actor for Buds & Boos: Midnight Monologues
We are seeking a talented male actor to bring an air of mystery and suspense to our upcoming event, "Buds & Boos: Midnight Monologues." The event will feature an immersive evening of spine-tingling Halloween and ghost story readings. The chosen actor will captivate the audience with their voice, presence, and ability to create an atmosphere of both excitement and fear.
Character: The Enigmatic Storyteller
- Age Range: 21 - Open
- Voice: Must be able to captivate the audience and remain in character during readings. Ability to control tone and pace for maximum impact.
- Presence: A commanding and charismatic presence that draws the audience in and keeps them spellbound.
- Experience: Experience in narrating spooky, suspenseful, or supernatural content. Not required but taken into consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform live readings of a selection of Halloween and ghost stories, enhancing the narratives with dramatic flair.
- Engage the audience through vocal dynamics, facial expressions, and body language.
- Must provide your own costume/makeup.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $75 per hour or in-house product of equivalent value.
Burning Acre Co., presents “Canvas and Cannabis”

**We are looking to book this event multiple times throughout Sept., Oct., Nov., etc. The October bookings will require a Halloween costume of your choosing and a Halloween themed session painting.**

Role: Artist and Event Leader
Goal: Lead participants through a step-by-step painting session, providing guidance and tips to create a cohesive and impressive artwork.
Atmosphere Creation: Set the mood for a fun and creative environment, ensuring participants feel comfortable expressing themselves artistically and socially.
Engagement: Interact with attendees, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages socializing and artistic exploration.
Adaptability: Be flexible in accommodating various skill levels, preferences, and needs among participants.
Time Management: Keep the event on schedule and ensure that the paintings being created can be finished within the two hour event window.
Requirements:
Artistic Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in painting, preferably with experience leading art sessions or workshops.
Cannabis Knowledge: Knowledge of cannabis is not required but will be taken into consideration.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and the ability to engage and guide a diverse group of participants.
Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and positive attitude throughout the event.
Age: 21+
Event Time: 6PM - 8PM
Event Date: Event dates can be flexible based on artist availability.

Monster Mash Dance Party​
Role: Costumed Characters of All Kinds
Goal: Dance the night away in costumed character of your choosing.
Atmosphere Creation: Set the mood for a fun and spooky environment! We want people to fell like they just walked into that dance party from Hocus Pocus. Let's put a spell on them!

Engagement: Interact with attendees, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages socializing.
Requirements:
21+
Stay in character for the duration of the dance party.
Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and positive attitude throughout the event.
