To Everyone Who’s Stuck With Us — Thank You.

This one isn't about cannabinoids.

There will be no explanation of federal hemp law, no science lesson and absolutely no need for a chemistry degree.

We just wanted to say thank you.

The last year has brought a lot of change to Burning Acre.

Actually, if we're being honest, the last almost six years have brought a lot of change to Burning Acre.

When we started this company in 2019, we couldn't have predicted half of what was ahead of us. We've grown, moved, expanded, won some awards, made a lot of products, met a lot of incredible people and learned approximately 47,000 lessons the hard way.

We've also watched the industry around us change — again and again.

And through all of it, you guys have stuck with us.

To Our Columbia People

You've probably experienced the biggest changes alongside us.

Our Columbia store looks different today than it did a year ago.

Products you've purchased from us for years had to leave the shelves. New products took their place. We shifted toward CBD, CBG, CBN and cannabinoid wellness, expanded what we're making in our Columbia kitchen and basically learned how to reinvent a store while keeping the heart of Burning Acre intact.

And you kept walking through the door.

You asked questions.

You tried the new stuff.

You checked on us.

You told your friends we were still here.

You supported our team while we figured out what this next version of Burning Acre could look like.

That means more than you probably realize.

To Everyone Who Followed Us to Murphy

Opening in Murphy, North Carolina gave us the opportunity to bring another version of Burning Acre to a new community.

Some of you discovered us there for the first time.

Others have literally crossed state lines to keep shopping with us.

We've watched familiar faces walk through a brand-new door, met an entirely new group of customers and gotten to introduce Western North Carolina to the weird little cannabis bakery we started back in Tennessee.

That's pretty cool and very humbling.

To the People Who Have Been Here Since the Beginning

Some of you have known us since Burning Acre was basically an idea, a kitchen and a whole lot of figuring-it-out-as-we-went.

You've watched products come and go.

You've watched stores open.

You've watched us change packaging approximately a million times.

You've watched laws change, locations change and this company grow into something we never could have completely mapped out back in 2019.

And somehow, you're still here.

We notice that.

And to the People Who Just Found Us...

You're part of this too.

Maybe you found us because you were looking for CBD.

Maybe someone told you about our dog treats.

Maybe you walked into Murphy looking for cannabis.

Maybe Google sent you our way.

Or maybe you've been driving past the Columbia store for six months wondering:

“What do they even sell in there now?”

Fair.

However you got here, we're glad you did.

We're Still Burning Acre

There are parts of this business we can control and parts we can't.

We can't control when laws change.

We can't control when an industry we've built our lives around gets rewritten.

And we've learned not to get too comfortable assuming we know exactly what the next few years will look like.

But there are things we can control.

We can care about what goes into our products.

We can keep making things we're proud of.

We can test them.

We can educate people honestly.

We can take care of the people who walk through our doors.

We can adapt without losing what made us Burning Acre in the first place.

And that's exactly what we plan to do.

So whether you've been shopping with us for seven years, seven months or seven minutes:

Thank you for trying something new when your old favorite disappeared.

The laws have changed.
